Dedicated to the Marcellus and Utica Shale

Posted on: November 7th, 2012 by Frank Roberts and Sons

Understanding the Energy Industry is what we do best.

Long before the energy boom of the Marcellus and Utica Shale, Frank Roberts and Sons were operational and serving as a valued partner for the oil and gas industry of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. But as the industry hit a boom and additional attention was put on the region, FRS responded to the demand and continued to serve as your one-stop-shop for plastic and geotextile containment.

In the last five years, the oil and gas industry have seen several changes and regulations regarding containment, and the team at Frank Roberts and Sons are on the forefront of those changes ensuring our clients know and understand the options moving forward for their jobsite success. We are committed to being not only a valued supplier, but partner that is dedicated to our clients success. We work with our clients at the start of a project to help identify areas for suggestions and ideas to improve efficiency. This is part of our value to you – our client.

We have continued to grow with our existing clients and suppliers and look forward to developing new relationships as the need for domestic energy is as strong as ever. We at Frank Roberts and Sons are dedicated to being your wholesale supplier of geotextiles, plastics and erosion control for the years to come.

Cattle Guard, Frank Roberts & Sons, Livestock Guard

SIOUX Steel Company presents their Cattle Guards to allow easy access to farm and rand land by eliminating the need for gates.

Cattle guards give open access but keep livestock inside. All cattle guards are constructed with heavy wall steel pipe and heavy duty thick steel channels. All ends of the cattle guards are capped to prevent rust. Wings and boxed cattle guards are available with all sizes.

The guards come in a few styles:

Boxed Cattle Guards:

Designed to sit on flat ground. Gravel underlayment is recommended for drainage of these cattle guards.

In many cases these boxed cattle guards are used for wheel washes in construction or oil and gas sites.

Cattle Guards with Wings:

Designed to make it difficult for cattle to cross ends.

Flat Cattle Gaurds

Designed to be placed into a hole/foundation with a cement form

Cattle Guard with Removable Box

Available on all the flat Cattle Guards. Removable Box will add approximately 7″ to the overall length and width of the cattle guard.
